The complete graphics newsroom solution supplied by Magna Systems includes 2 Chyron HyperX2 dual channel graphics systems with Clip Player for news production studios, 5 HyperX2s with Lyric Pro software for ABC News’ OB trucks, 2 Camio newsroom systems and 11 LEX2 dual channel graphics CGs, also with Lyric Pro software, to work with the Camio systems. The complete system also utilises Chyron’s unique iSQ Intelligent Sequencer which allows a user to control multiple graphic playout devices from a central application and from this single point of control, enables the command of up to 12 independent channels through individual playlists. Magna Systems also project managed the national installation and training for all the newsroom studios and OB trucks. The solution provided by Magna constitutes a complete national newsroom graphics replacement for the ABC and means all ABC news graphics across Australia are now be created and implemented with the new system from their Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin and Hobart studios.
