Streamlined, pre-rendered and dynamic graphics

The highly versatile Vertigo Suite graphics automation and asset management tools offer a choice of highly productive workflows, including pre-rendering using After Effects, and a choice of dynamic rendering models using graphics templates, including data push to the graphics template, and ID/time-based data look-up options.

Adapted for live or highly automated operation

The demands of live television are very different from heavily automated specialty channels, and our products are highly adapted to suit these specific environments. Our new fully featured, master control switcher panels for the Imagestore 750 processor offer all the live manual control capabilities needed by national broadcasters, regional stations and other providers of live programming. The Imagestore 750 processor is also ideally suited to highly automated channels, and this allows a common processor and workflows across mixed channel types.

Advanced 5.1 audio processing

Sophisticated 5.1 audio processing functions can be performed by Miranda’s master control and channel branding processors. For instance, in addition to 16 channel audio mixing and playout, the Imagestore 750 offers dynamic shuffling and gain control; stereo to 5.1 Upmixing using Linear Acoustic UpMax2™ technology; 4 Dolby decoders/encoders; and advanced Metadata processing.

Choice of manual control panels

A broad selection of highly intuitive control panels are available for the master control switching and channel branding range, including a fully featured master control panel for live programming, a highly configurable soft panel, and a compact panel for controlling advanced graphics.

Stereoscopic 3D branding

Miranda has been at the forefront of developing stereoscopic 3D channel branding systems. The Imagestore 750 processor offers Single Link 1.5Gbps (SMPTE-292M) (side/side or top/bottom) switching and channel branding, with a variable ‘Z-plane’ for graphics depth control (automated or manual) for optimal viewing. The LGK-3901 modular branding processor can support Single Link (side/side or top/bottom) stereoscopic 3D, using 1.5Gbps and 3Gbps.
