Polistream has been developed using proven technologies, combined with advanced encoding, streaming and distribution techniques. Polistream manages the transmission for any mix of DVB, Teletext, closed caption, Imitext and open subtitles as well as other data including graphics.

Polistream M-Series

The Polistream M-Series provide a unique solution for real-time subtitling, logo insertion and video delay, all in MPEG2. The M-Series and be configured to insert subtitles and static logos directly into HD or SD MPEG2 streams without decoding and recoding the video.

Polistream D-Series

The D-series of products offer a simple and economical solution ideal for small networks or broadcasters who only require one or two subtitle services.

The D-series units incorporate the entire Polistream system on a small scale inside just one box and can be supplied in different output variations and can transmit up to 4 languages per box where applicable.

Polistream Blue

All of the core Polistream software modules including the channel servers, DVB, Imitext, Open and Teletext subtitle encoders and the core Polistream configuration server are run on our processing platforms the P4000 and P5000. The P5000 hosts the configuration server database which holds all system configuration data plus the configuration server application. We always recommend having dual redundancy P5000s.

Polistream 2Power

Eight output mains power units providing automatic changeover between two separate power feeds. Ideal for systems that require redundant power feeds or where UPS systems need to be take off-line for maintenance.

By combining Polistream 2Power units and the flexible Polistream redundancy strategy It is possible to provide resilient systems with maximum flexibility. Twin power inputs provides resilience against a break in supply on one feed as well as allowing for planned maintenance on UPS units, generators and power distribution cabling.
